Sutton Hoo – 71 Village Links gets you to the entrance – catch it from Woodbridge. This hauntingly beautiful 255 acre estate, with far-reaching views over the River Deben, is home to one of the greatest archaeological discoveries of all time. Walk around the Royal Burial Ground and enjoy vistas from the 17-metre viewing tower to discover the history of the ship burial of an Anglo-Saxon king and his treasured possessions, find out about the archaeological work that took place here in Tranmer House, the former home of Edith Pretty, and visit the High Hall exhibition to see replica and original objects. Ipswich Transport MuseumIpswich Transport Museum is a collection of over 100 major transport and engineering objects which were made or used in the Ipswich area. They show how people used to go about their daily lives and remind us of the many things that were actually designed and built on our doorstep. Framlingham Castle – 63 Ipswich Reds route gets you a short walk away – hop off at White Horse Mews.
